Dyme NL is an app for Android and iOS that you can link to your bank account. Once you have made this link, Dyme will quickly and easily put most expenses in a handy overview for you. You will receive an overview of your fixed costs and subscriptions, such as your rent, energy costs, Netflix subscription, or other recurring costs.
Do you have a contract or current subscription, and would you like to switch or cancel it? Then the app will help you with this. You will receive a notification in the Dyme App, explaining, for example, that they think a current contract can be cheaper. You can then choose to let Dyme negotiate. If they are successful, Dyme will receive 30% of the savings and you 70%. Get a grip on your spending with a budget. Free insurance and subscription check gave me a great deal, right in the beginning.

My Thoughts on the App? Good or Bad?
Dyme now gives you a comprehensive look at your recent income and fixed expenses. Although some figures might not be spot-on initially, you can easily make manual adjustments. Once you’ve reviewed everything, you’ll have a complete list of your current subscriptions. This feature allows you to quickly spot any subscriptions you’re not using and cancel them through Dyme, or check if you can negotiate better rates.
I found it particularly helpful that they point out when you could save money; you can decide if you want Dyme to negotiate on your behalf or if you’d rather do it yourself. For some, having everything taken care of is a great convenience, while others might see it as a nudge to take charge. The choice is completely yours.
